Winter Anime "WIMUSHI PEDAL NEW GENERATION", latest PV released!　New generation characters appear one after another & OP "Cadence" premieres!

The second PV from the TV anime "WIMUSU PEDAL NEW GENERATION," which will start in January 2017, has been released.

The anime series is based on the manga of the same title by Wataru Watanabe, serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten), and is popular among a wide range of people for the battles and drama of high school students who put their all into cycling road races. As the title suggests, "NEW GENERATION" features the passionate drama of the "New Generation Team" of Sohoku High School Cycling Club, including the main character, Sakamichi Onoda.

The latest PV, which uses plenty of footage from the main story, begins with the appointment of Junta Teshima as the next team leader by the previous team leader, Mamoru Kaneshiro. The PV shows the new generation of Team Sohoku members, including the main character Onoda Sakamichi, as well as the rival teams aiming for the top at the next inter-high school competition, and the new character Takuto Reekiba and his team.
In the second half of the PV, the opening theme "Cadence" sung by singer Takaaki Natsushiro is performed for the first time. The powerful racing images depicted with the fast-paced sound are a must-see.
