TV anime "Card Captor Sakura: Clear Card Arc" to begin airing in January 2018!　Staff and cast of the previous series reunite!

Cardcaptor Sakura" is a popular manga serialized in "Nakayoshi" (Kodansha) from 1996 to 2000 by CLAMP, a hit maker known for "Magic Knight Rayearth" and "XXXHOLiC". The popularity of the manga grew when it was adapted into a TV anime on NHK in 1998. The popularity of the series accelerated even further when it was made into a TV anime on NHK in 1998, and it became a huge boom that transcended both gender and generation.
In 2016, the 20th anniversary of the serialization, a new chapter, "Clear Card Arc," began in "Nakayoshi" magazine, and a revival of "Card Captor Sakura the Movie" will be screened on January 21, 2017.

This time, it was announced that the previously announced anime project is the TV anime adaptation of the "Clear Card Arc". The broadcast will start in January 2018 on NHK.
Staff and cast information was also released. As in the previous series, Sakura Tange will play Sakura Kinomoto, Aya Kugawa will play Cerberus, Junko Iwao will play Tomoyo Daidoji, Motoko Kumai will play Li Shorou, Emi Ogata will play Yukito Tsukishiro, and Tomokazu Seki will play Momoya Kinomoto. It has also been announced that the production team, including Morio Asaka as director and Madhouse as animation producer, will once again be led by staff who know "Card Captor Sakura" inside and out.
