A new key visual and synopsis have been released for the anime film "LUPIN THE IIIRD: Ishikawa Gomon in the Smoke of Blood," which will be released on February 4, 2017.

This is the latest in the "LUPIN THE IIIRD" series, following the theatrical anime "LUPIN THE IIIRD: Tombstone of Daisuke Tsugimoto," which was produced in 2014 as "Lupin III" for adults and received a great response. The story depicts the moment when the young swordsman Ishikawa Gomon awakens to his strongest. The director and animation director is Ken Koike, who worked on the character design for "LUPIN the Third - A Woman Called Fujiko Mine"; series composition and screenplay are by Yuya Takahashi, who worked on the series composition for the fourth series of "Lupin the Third" broadcast in 2015; film director Katsuhito Ishii serves as creative advisor; and music is by James Shimojita The music is by James Shimoji, and the animation is produced by Telecom Animation Films.

Story

Japan. A young bouncer, Gomon Ishikawa, saves the leader of the Tetsuryukai clan from being attacked on a gambling boat sailing off the coast of Izu. However
However, a huge explosion soon afterwards wrecks the ship and the gang leader loses his life. The gang leader also loses his life. The cause of the explosion was a large man using an axe as a weapon. Gemon once caught up with the man, but he escaped. Meanwhile, Lupin III, Daisuke Dime, and Fujiko Mine succeed in stealing the money from the gambling boat, and witness the scene from their boat at sea.
The "Ghost of Bermuda" - that is what the big man is called. He is a soldier who once slaughtered 2,000 people on the battlefield, and his code name is Hawk. Why is such a man in Japan? Inspector Zenigata of the Public Safety Bureau tracks Hawk's whereabouts. Gemon, who had been stigmatized as a traitor at the funeral of his gang leader, also pursues Hawk in order to avenge his humiliation.
Meanwhile, Lupin and his gang were celebrating at their hideout in the Izu Mountains with wads of cash in front of them. Suddenly, Hawk appears!
