Guest voice actors announced for the anime film "SWORD ART ONLINE -Ordinal Scale-"! AR idol Yuna will be played by Sayaka Kanda

Guest voice actors have been announced for the anime film "Sword Art Online - Ordinal Scale," which will be released on February 18, 2017.



Sword Art Online" is an anime work based on the novel by Reki Kawahara, winner of the 15th Dengeki Novel Award (Grand Prize), which depicts the activities of the main character Kirito in the mysterious next-generation online game "Sword Art Online" and became popular. The second season was broadcast from July to December 2014, and a completely new anime movie "SWORD ART ONLINE THE MOVIE -Ordinal Scale-" is scheduled to be released on February 18, 2017.

It was announced that Sayaka Kanda will play the role of Yuna, a popular diva who is the first AR (Augmented Reality) idol in the film. In response to the offer, Ms. Kanda said, "I was determined to do my best, even as a guest character, to be cast among professional voice actors in a work that is so popular. He also expressed his passion for this work. The song composed by Yuki Kajiura, who is in charge of the accompaniment to the film, and other writers will be in charge of the songs performed in the film.
It was also announced that Yoshio Inoue will play the role of Eiji, a mysterious young swordsman, and Takeshi Kaga will play the role of Professor Shigemura, the developer of Augmar, an AR (Augmented Reality) type information terminal.
