Special Effects Drama "Power Rangers" to Become a Movie in July 2017!　Super Sentai from Japan rebooted in Hollywood!

The tokusatsu drama "Power Rangers" will be made into a movie and released in Japan on July 15, 2017.

Power Rangers" is an English localization of the Japanese tokusatsu drama series "Super Sentai," a popular TV drama series broadcast in the U.S. Since its launch in 1993, it has surpassed 800 episodes and has been broadcast in over 160 countries worldwide.

It has been announced that "Power Rangers" will be made into a movie at a total production cost of 12 billion yen, and a teaser poster visual has been unveiled. The visual depicts the silhouettes of five high school students who have gained incredible power and are struggling to become real heroes, foreshadowing the epic story that is about to begin.

Story
Back in B.C., the time has changed. In ancient times, a great battle to decide the fate of the world was coming to an end. The earth was protected by five warriors. The story returns to the present day as new life sprouts in the earth.
In the small town of Angel Grove, there were five young people living an ordinary life. They spend their days in an ordinary way. However, as fate would have it, they meet and acquire "new powers" to confront the threats that will soon come their way. Why was this power given to them? Now, the story begins again.
