Full CG animated film "Resident Evil: Vendetta" to be released on May 27, 2017! New key visuals also unveiled!

From the animated film "Resident Evil: Vendetta," it was announced that the Japanese release date will be May 27, 2017.



Resident Evil: Vendetta" is a full CG animated feature film based on the world of the popular survival horror game series "Resident Evil" which has sold over 71 million copies. The film features the world of "Resident Evil" depicted with high quality CG technology, popular characters from the series, and unpredictable battles with new original characters. Executive producer is Takashi Shimizu of "Ju-On" series, director is Takanori Tsujimoto of "THE NEXT GENERATION PATLABOR", and screenplay is by Makoto Fukami of "PSYCHO-PASS".

The release date in Japan has now been announced as Saturday, May 27, 2017. A key visual depicting Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield has also been released.
