Anime "Rewrite" 2nd season broadcast information released!　The latest key visual is unveiled and the 1st season will be broadcast all at once and rebroadcast!

Information about the second season of the TV anime "Rewrite" has been announced.

Rewrite" is a PC game released in 2011 by Key/Visual Arts, known for PC games such as "Kanon," "AIR," and "CLANNAD," which have also been made into anime. The first season of the game was broadcast from July to September.
The staff of the TV anime version is directed and composed by Tensyu of "Kiniro Mosaic" and "Grisaia no Kajitsu," who also worked on the OP anime of the original game. The composition and script cooperation is provided by Romeo Tanaka, scenario writer of the original game, and Kai (Visual Arts), scenario writer of "CLANNAD," with character design by Masayuki Nonaka, main animator of "Grisaia no Kajitsu" and animation production by Eight Bit. The animation production is handled by Eight Bit.

It was announced that the 2nd season of TV anime "Rewrite" will be broadcast from January 14, 2017 on TOKYO MX and other stations.
The latest key visual was also released along with the announcement of the broadcasting information. The visual has a serious atmosphere, depicting characters including Tennoji Koutarou protecting one of the heroines, Bonfire.

In addition, it has been decided to rerun and broadcast the entire 1st season in conjunction with the start of the 2nd season.
