Manga "Laughcell Suman" will be re-animated for the first time in 28 years.

The manga was first published in Big Comic (Shogakukan) in 1968 as "Kuroi Sellu Suman" and was adapted into an anime in 1989 as "Gimia Bureiku" in the variety show "Gimia Bureiku". The following year, it was adapted into a live-action TV drama. The following year, it was adapted into a popular live-action TV drama.
The mysterious salesman, Moguro Fukuzo, tunnels into the "emotional crevices" of people living in a stressful society and grants their wishes without compensation. However, if they break their promises or fail to heed his advice, they will pay a heavy price. ...... This black storyline has captured the hearts of a wide range of generations and will return to television in spring 2017 as the third work in the "Animesu Man New" anime slot. The main character of this work, Fukuyoshi Mokuro, is the main character of the series.

The cast of this work's main character, Fukuzo Mokuro, passes the baton from the late Toru Ohira to Tetsuaki Genda. Before his death, Mr. Ohira had requested that Mr. Genda take over the role of Fukuzo Mokuro, and expectations for Genda's version of Fukuzo Mokuro are high.
