Manga "Inuyashiki" to be adapted into a TV anime in October 2017! General director is Satokeiichi, director is Shuhei Yuda, production is by MAPPA

A TV anime adaptation of the manga "Inuyashiki" has been announced.



Inuyashiki" is a manga serialized in "Evening" (Kodansha) by Hiroya Oku, creator of the hit science fiction action series "GANTZ. The manga features two main characters, Ichiro Inuyashiki, a dull businessman, and Kou Shishigami, a high school student, and is based on the theme of "What if one day, out of the blue, he suddenly gained a powerful force? The anime depicts the theme of "good" and "evil" from both perspectives.

The anime adaptation was announced at the "Fuji TV Noitamina Project Presentation 2017" held on December 15, 2016. The staff consists of Keiichi Sato, general director of "TIGER&BUNNY" and "GANTZ:O," Shuhei Yuda, director of "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle" and 3D director of "Shinkoku no Kyojin" and this is his first work as director, and animation production is by MAPPA of "Yuri! on ICE").

Broadcasting will begin in July 2017 on Fuji Television's "Noitamina" and other programs. On the official website ( # ), a promotional movie has been released, and it has also been announced that a live-action movie will be made in 2018.
