The TV anime "Watashi ga motete donde" is based on Junko's manga serialized in "Bessatsu Friend" (Kodansha). The story depicts the sudden "period of popularity" that comes to the main character, Serinuma Kayori, a rotten girl who has lost a lot of weight due to the shock of the death of her favorite anime character. The original work has sold more than 1.5 million copies and was ranked No. 4 in the "This Manga is Amazing! 2015" and won 4th place in the women's section.
