Made in Abyss" to be made into a TV anime!　Directed by Masayuki Kojima of "Black Bullet" and produced by Kinema Citrus of "Shakunetsu no Takkyu Musume

TV anime adaptation of the manga "Made in Abyss" has been announced.

Made in Abyss" is a manga by Akihito Tsukushi, serialized on the web comic site "Comic Gamma". The story is set in "Abyss," a gigantic cavern that has no idea how far it extends, and "Oath," a town built on its edge, and warmly depicts the adventures of Riko, a young girl who aspires to become a great "explorer" like her mother.

The TV anime adaptation has been announced with a teaser visual. The anime will be directed by Masayuki Kojima, director of "Black Bullet" and "MONSTER," and written by Hideyuki Kurata, who worked on "DRIFTERS" and "Shakunetsu no Takkyu Musume," and character design by Kazuya Kise, who worked on "Ghost in the Shell: ARISE ALTERNATIVE ARCHITECTURE," and was also the general director and character designer for "Ghost in the Shell: ARISE ALTERNATIVE ARCHITECTURE. Kazuya Kise, who worked on "Ghost in the Shell: ARISE ALTERNATIVE ARCHITECTURE," will be in charge of character design, and Kinema Citrus will be in charge of animation production.
