Short animation "Fire Making" about shearsmithing, now trying to raise crowdfunding!　Event to be held on January 15

A short animation "Hizukuri" is now challenging crowdfunding.

Hizukuri" is an original 2DCG animation work being produced by Naoki Matsuura, an animation director who has created the "Single Employee", "Night Meal", and "Kamikyo" animated commercials for Marukome Miso. The story is about a boy who goes to meet a craftsman named "Sasuke" who lives in a foreign town, triggered by a pair of scissors he finds among the belongings of his father who has passed away. The work is a short film of less than 10 minutes and is scheduled for completion in November 2017.

The project has already surpassed its goal of 1 million yen, with 72 supporters and 1.15 million yen raised as of January 5, 2017. The period for accepting supporters is until January 27, 2017.

It has also been announced that an "All about Fire Making" event will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2017, featuring the director Matsuura, Sasuke Shearsmith, the model for the film, and UQiYO, who is in charge of the film's music.
