Kamiyama Festival" to distribute all the films directed by Kenji Kamiyama!　Commemorating the release of the anime film "Princess Hirune: The Unknown Watashi no Monogatari

The "Kamiyama Festival," which distributes all of director Kenji Kamiyama's works, started on January 1, 2017.

Director Kenji Kamiyama, whose previous works include "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex," "The Guardian of the Spirit," and "Eden of the East," has earned high praise from animation fans for creating a profound world setting and depicting human drama within it. ～The film, "Hirune Hime: The Unknown Watashi no Monogatari," which will be released on Saturday, March 18, 2017, is the first anime film written, scripted, and directed by Kamiyama.

In commemoration of the release of "Princess Hirune: The Unknown Watashi no Monogatari," the "Kamiyama Festival" is being held from today (January 1, 2017) to distribute all of director Kamiyama's works. The films that will be distributed include the "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" series, which can be considered his masterpiece, as well as "Guardian of the Spirit," "Eden of the East," and "009 RE: CYBORG," allowing viewers to enjoy these masterpieces as many times as they like over a period of about three months. In addition, a Twitter campaign will also be launched to win a preview of the completion of "Princess Hirune" and other prizes.

Up until now, I have made each work with care and with an awareness of making something that people will continue to watch for a long time. This is my first time to make an original feature film, and I believe it will be a film that people will enjoy for a long time as well.
The theme of "Hirune Hime: The Unknown Watashi no Monogatari" is family connections. What kind of connections with the people around you are the reason why you are the person you are today? I would like viewers to imagine that there may be a story about themselves that they do not know. I also hope that fathers who do not usually go to the cinema will see this film.
