Intel's new Kaby Lake-S series CPU models are now available.

T he 20 models released this time are Core i7 7700K/7700/7700T, Core i5 7600K/7600/7600T/7500/7500T/7400/7400T, Core i3 7320/7300/7300T/7100/7100T, Pentium G4620/G4560/G4400, Celeron G3950/G3930. /G4400, and Celeron G3950/G3930, for a total of 20 models.

Kaby Lake" is Intel's new CPU, the successor to "Skylake" .

The improved 14nm process "14nm+" with optimized circuitry improves the operating clock speed compared to "Skylake", and "HD Graphics 630" is adopted as the built-in GPU. The built-in GPU is HD Graphics 630, which supports 5K output (5,120 x 2,880 pixels) and HDR video playback. It also features support for Optane, a low-latency non-volatile memory based on 3D XPoint technology jointly developed by Intel and Micron .

Motherboard makers have released motherboards with the new Intel 200 series chipset for Kaby Lake , butsince the CPU socket for Kaby Lake is LGA1151, the same as that for Skylake ,motherboardswith theIntel 100 series chipsetfor Skylake cannot be used. However, since the Kaby Lake CPU socket is LGA1151, the same as the Skylake socket, it is possible to use Kaby Lake with an Intel 100 series motherboard designed for Skylake (BIOS update required). Note, however, that Kaby Lake-based PCs will only officially support Windows 10, and Windows 8.1/7 will not be supported.
