Anime film "KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm", "Countdown to Release & Birthday Cheering Screening" decided!

To commemorate the release of the anime film "KING OF PRISM -PRIDE the HERO-," "KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm" will be screened again at 71 theaters nationwide.

KING OF PRISM -PRIDE the HERO-" is a new version of the anime film "KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm" which became a hot topic for its highly addictive content and "Prism Star Cheering Screening", a participatory screening where cheering and penlights are allowed. The film depicts boys with rich personalities who aim to become the next generation of Prism Stars and face various ordeals and difficulties to become the "Prism King" who can make girls the most thrilled.

KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm" is a prequel to "KING OF PRISM -PRIDE the HERO-," set in the "PRISM KING CUP" held once every four years. The story is about boys with rich personalities who aim to become the next generation of prismatic stars and face various trials and difficulties in their quest to become the "Prism King" who can make girls the most thrilled. The film, which opened in 14 theaters at the time of its release, became a hot topic by word of mouth, drawing 480,000 viewers and grossing over 800 million yen at the box office. It was released in more than 130 theaters nationwide and continues its long-run screening.

In the midst of all this, "KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm" will hold a "Countdown to Release & Birthday Cheering Screening" starting in February. This screening will be a countdown to the release of the film and a birthday party for the characters, and will include a re-screening of the anime film "KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm" and a birthday party for the characters who will have birthdays before the release of the new film: Shin & Rui (born on February 29), Yu (born on March 14), Leo (born on April 4), Kazuki & Taiga (born on May 5), and KAZUKI & TANIOKI (born on May 5).
