Set in a world where harmful ashes containing bacteria that melt the human body have been falling endlessly and covering the sky and ground, this is the story of two boys, Aki and Fuyu, who live in a town built deep underground and long for the sky they have never seen before. The characters in this film wear huge masks and protective clothing covering their entire bodies, so viewers can imagine the "color" of their faces based on the "color" of their voices and sounds, making this a work completed by the viewer's imagination.

The "COCOLORS Special Collaboration LIVE" is an approach to realize a "live" performance, which was once considered impossible for animation content, by brushing up the screening method of silent films that have disappeared in Japan, in which a silent film is voiced by an action benshi and performed by a live orchestra, to suit the modern age. This is one of the approaches to realize a "live" screening, which was once thought to be impossible for animation content.

In October 2016, "COCOLORS" was unveiled at Machiai Sobi vol. 17 in Tokushima, Japan, and was screened live with voice actors and musicians infusing live sound into the images. This one-of-a-kind creative experience was so well received that there were requests for a repeat performance from many quarters. In response to these requests, the Tokyo performance will be repeated for two days only.
