i☆Ris' 14th single "Shining Star" release event report has arrived!　New costumes designed by the members were also unveiled for the first time!

Event report of voice-over idol unit "i☆Ris" has arrived.

i☆Ris is a popular female unit formed by six members who passed the "1st Animation Song Vocal Audition" jointly held by Avex Group and 81 Produce in July 2012. From April to June, they are planning to hold "i☆Ris 3rd Live Tour 2017," the largest scale live tour ever.

On January 21, their 14th single "Shining Star" release event was held at animate Ikebukuro. In addition to the first public performance of a new song and new costumes designed by the members, the second part of the event was the first women-only event. The event was full of highlights, including the announcement of the release of the Blu-ray&DVD of the unit's first Nippon Budokan concert held on November 25, 2016. Here is the report.

i☆Ris, a hybrid unit of voice actors and idols, held a release event of their 14th single "Shining Star" on January 21 (Sat) at animate Ikebukuro main store 9F event hall.
In addition to the first performance of the single song and new costumes designed by the members, the second part of the event was a women-only event for the first time. It was also announced that the Blu-ray and DVD of "i☆Ris 4th Anniversary Live~418~", the first Nippon Budokan concert held on November 25 last year to celebrate the 4th anniversary of their debut, would be released on April 5.

At the beginning of the event, they appeared in new costumes for their new song "Shining Stae. It was designed and produced by member Shibuya in the style of a uniform with a Napoleon jacket design based on navy. The ribbons and one-pointed colors of the members, as well as the skirts and pants, made their individuality stand out more. The audience cheered "Cute!
Soon after their appearance, they performed "§Rainbow", followed by "Tsutsu Taiyo" with a self-introduction MC in between, which drew loud cheers and shouts from the audience. The audience cheered loudly!
Serizawa said, "After the Budokan concert, we are really fired up since it is the first single of 2017 and it is the opening theme song for the January season of the anime "Pripara," for which we have been voice actors and theme songs for three years, and it will become new from April. We put our feelings and wishes for the new idols that will appear in April. The song is hot...and kind...and very good, so please listen to it! Please listen to it!
The up-tempo melody is a bit sad, and the positive lyrics are very impressive. The choreography of the songs from "Pripara," the anime in which she has sung, is interspersed throughout the performance as if linked to the story.
After the performance of the new song, it was announced that "i☆Ris 4th Anniversary Live~418~", their first Budokan live held last November 25th to celebrate the 4th anniversary of their debut, would be released on Blu-ray and DVD on April 5th.

The live ended with a performance of "i☆Doloid," their first event performance in a while.
In the second part of the event, a girls-only event was held for the first time.
At i☆Ris' live, there had been an area for women and children only, but this was the first time to hold a women-only event at a release event, and about 300 female i☆Ris fans gathered.
The venue was filled with yellow cheers and the members were embarrassed but could not hide their joy at the glamorous atmosphere. Kubota commented.
The first song "Happy New World☆" was also a big hit with the audience. The lyrics "Kimi ni yume no melody ni ni naru waruyo yo" was sung with the part "Kimi ni" arranged as "To the girls~".
i☆Ris will start 2017 with the release of their 14th Single on March 8 and the visualization of their Budokan live on April 5, as well as their upcoming tour "i☆Ris 3rd Live Tour 2017," which will start on April 9 with 17 shows in 9 locations throughout Japan, so please look forward to their future activities.
