Anime film "The Night is Short and the Walking Maidens" reveals cast information!　Gorgeous cast including Kana Hanazawa, Hiroshi Kamiya, Ryuji Akiyama (Robert), Kazuya Nakai

Cast information has been announced for the anime film "The Night is Short and the Walking Girl," scheduled for release on April 7.

The film is a coming-of-age love story about a "senior" who has feelings for a "black-haired girl" who is a junior in his club, and tries to "catch her eye". Set in Kyoto, the film depicts the senior's love story as he gets involved in unusual incidents caused by his unique friends.
The staff is directed by Masaaki Yuasa, written by Makoto Ueda (Europe Planning), with original character designs by Yusuke Nakamura and theme song by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, the creators of the TV anime "Shijohan Shinwa Taikei" reunited after six years. The role of the main character, Senpai, is played by Gen Hoshino; the film is scheduled to open nationwide on April 7, 2017.

The cast information, except for Gen Hoshino, who will play the role of the main character, Senpai, has been announced.
Kana Hanazawa will play the role of the heroine "the black-haired maiden" whom the "senpai" has feelings for, and Hiroshi Kamiya will play the role of "the director of the school festival office" who is a schoolmate of the "senpai". The "director of the school festival" is Mr. Hiroshi Kamiya, "senpai"'s school friend, Mr. Ryuji Akiyama of Robert as "the chief of underpants", and "Tengu", who always wears a yukata and is always ready for a good time, who also appears in "Shijohan Mythology Taisei". Kazuya Nakai will play "Master Higuchi," a man who always wears a yukata, stands poised and at ease, and calls himself a "tengu," a man who appears and disappears from the world.
Yuko Kaita will play "Mr. Haneki," who also appears in "Yonjohan Shinwa Taikei," as in the previous production, Hiroyuki Yoshino will play the "God of the Used Book Market," and Noriko Okawa will play "Noriko," a university student who belongs to a drama club. In addition, popular voice actors Junichi Suwabe, Aoi Yuki, Shuyuki Hiyama, Kazuhiro Yamaji, and Mugito will be supporting the cast.
