OVA "Aoki Thunderbolt (Armed Blue) Gunvolt" will be distributed from February 9, 2012.

Aoki Thunderbolt Gunvolt" is a side-scrolling action game created in collaboration between Inti Creates, Inc. and Keiji Inafune, the creator of the "Mega Man" series, with a sci-fi light novel style worldview and exhilarating combos, which has sold over 250,000 copies worldwide. Since the release of the first game for the Nintendo 3DS in 2014, the game has been a hit that has been ported to various hardware platforms and sequels have been released.

The anime version of this work is now ready for distribution.
In conjunction with the distribution decision, the OVA version's website, latest PV, main visuals, etc. have been released simultaneously.

This work will be distributed as a Nintendo 3DS download software for 600 yen (including tax).

Synopsis
In the near future, people with a special ability called the "Seventh Wave" - the Seventh Wave abilities - have begun to appear among the human race.
While the rest of the world is in turmoil, order is maintained in Japan under the control of the giant conglomerate "Sumeragi" Group.

The peace brought by Sumeragi, however, was only a temporary peace based on the sacrifices of people with abilities.
On the surface, the company acts as a clean company, but behind the scenes, the Imperial Gods continue to forcibly incarcerate people with abilities and continue inhumane human experimentation.

There was an organization that quickly realized what was going on behind the scenes and rose up in revolt against such a company, and its name was "Feathers.
Gunvolt, a boy with the Seventh Wave ability who belongs to Feather, infiltrates the facility of the Imperial God again tonight for the sake of the freedom of those with the ability.
