The popular manga "Chiruran: Shinsengumi Requiem" will be adapted for the stage.



Chiruran: Shinsengumi Requiem" is a manga by Shinya Umemura (original story) and Eiji Hashimoto (artwork) serialized in "Monthly Comic Zenon" (North Stars Pictures). As of February 2017, volume 17 has been released.

The stage adaptation of this popular work has been announced, and as the first part of the cast information, it was revealed that Toru Iwaoka and Sota Hanamura from "Da-ice", whose popularity is rapidly rising, and Toshio Matsumoto from "EXILE", who is actively engaged in stage activities as an actor and director, will perform. It was also announced that Shunichi Okamura, the director of "AZUMI Bakumatsuhen" and "Shin Bakumatsu Junjoden," will be in charge of the direction, making it a must-see for fans of the original work, fans of each cast, and theater fans alike.
