Two animated films produced by Saga Prefecture to be released in March!　Cast includes Kaori Nazuka, Kotono Mitsuishi, and Kappei Yamaguchi

Two animated films produced by Saga Prefecture, "TADAIMA" and "OKAERI," will be released simultaneously in March.

Saga Prefecture has been actively utilizing anime productions amid a nationwide trend toward publicity videos for local governments, and in April 2016 the prefecture released "Yakusoku no Kiki: Arita no Hatsukoi" (Promised Vessel: Arita's First Love), set in Arita Town, and "Winter Oath, Summer Festival: Takeo no Ookusu," depicting Takeo City, both of which have received favorable reviews online.

It was announced that two new works, "TADAIMA" (I'm home), set in Saga City, and "OKAERI" (welcome back), set in Karatsu, will be released in March. The screenplay is written by Hideki Sonoda, a native of the prefecture who has written screenplays for "Beyblade Burst" and other films. I'm home" and "Okaeri" will be directed by Akitaro Daichi and Hajime Kamegaki, respectively. It has also been announced that Kaori Nazuka (playing Mei, the main character in "TADAIMA"), Kotono Mitsuishi (playing Jun, the mother of the main character in "TADAIMA" and Miyoko Aoi, the mother of the main character in "Okaeri") and Kappei Yamaguchi (playing Sora Aoi, the main character in "Okaeri") will participate as voice actors.

Both films will open on March 12, 2017 at Youtube and at the Saga Prefectural Museum and the Kyushu Ceramic Museum. It was also announced that a "Saga Prefecture Animation" commemorative event will be held at the Saga Prefectural Museum of Art on March 11 to celebrate the release of the two films.
