Anime "Mahoutsukai no Yome: Hoshi wo Yaita Hito (Waiting for the Stars: The Second Part)," reports on the first day's stage greeting!　The second part will be released in August 2017.

An official report on the first day's stage greeting has arrived from the anime "Mahoutsukai no Yome: Hoshi wo Yoru Hito: Chuban" currently being screened at the event.

The "Mahoutsukai no Yome" is a manga serialized in "Monthly Comic Garden" (Mag Garden) by Yamazaki Kore. Set in modern-day England, this fantasy work depicts Chise Hatori, a girl who can see things that are not human, and Elias, a non-human wizard who bought her for 5 million pounds. WITCH ONE'S WIFE: HOSHI WAITING FOR A HOSHI" is a prequel to the manga, and is an original anime for which the creator, Yamazaki Koré, himself is the original writer. The first, middle, and second parts of the trilogy are sold as a bundle with the sixth, seventh, and eighth volumes of the original comic book, and the first part was shown as a limited two-week event in the summer of 2016 and received favorable reviews.

Atsumi Tanezaki, who plays Chise, Ryota Takeuchi, who plays Elias, and director Norihiro Naganuma, who took the stage on Saturday, February 4 to greet the audience on the opening day of the "middle part" of the film, have commented on the film.

It's been half a year since the last part, which is surprisingly long. I've always wanted to see it on the big screen, so I'm happy to be here today.
After going through the postrecording, I have the feeling that each word related to "The Magician's Wife" is soaking in. I have come to understand the first page of the original story more intensely. In the second part of the book, we see Miura's memories and the copy of "I've been waiting for a star called you. ＞I hope you will look forward to the second part of the film. The movements, objects, and dialogues are all thoughtfully scattered throughout the film, so you will discover something different each time you see it. I can't wait to see it!

(To Elias Silky) Gentleman! It's been a while. It's an honor. This is Silky's first visit to Japan, isn't it?
When you see it on the big screen, you can appreciate the subtle colors and the beautiful sound even more. This is the story of Chise before she met Elias, so I tried to listen to her story carefully. Chise has many heart-wrenching scenes, but I think it is because of those things that she is now living with Silky and Lutz. I also played a role in the mob this time, but it was more noticeable than I thought it would be (laughs).
The middle part of the film was very fast-paced and ended in a very interesting way, so I am looking forward to the second part! In the second part, Silky, Lutz, and Elias also appear, so I hope you will enjoy the comparison after Chise finishes telling the story. I think the atmosphere and feeling will be different between the first and second parts.

Before recording, Mr. Takeuchi asked me if I would have a part in the middle part. I was asked if I would have a part in the middle part. I played a mob role in addition to Elias, but his voice was so good that he stood out (laugh). Mr. Tanesaki is very stable. I can listen to him with peace of mind.
In the middle part, I expressed a library where various worlds are expanding within a small world. The story progresses along with the dense play between Miura and Chise and the more heavily produced music, so I think that even those who like the original story will enjoy it. The film ends with the continuation of the story, so we hope you will see the second part on screen as well. Don't worry, Elias, Lutz, and Silky are also in the second part!
