WD6002FZWX, a power-saving model of Western Digital's WD Black 3.5-inch HDD, now on sale

WD6002FZWX, a3.5-inch HDD with 6TB capacity,is now available from Western Digital.

The WD6002FZWX is a minor change model ofthe WD6001FZWX, which was released in October 2015.

The basic specifications are the same, but the data transfer rate has been increased from 218MB/s to 227MB/s, and power consumption has been reduced from 10.6W to 9.1W when read, 7.6W to 7.1W when idle, and 1.6W to 1.0W when standby/sleep.

The main specifications are: connectioninterface is SATA 3.0 (6Gbps).Cache capacity is 128MB. 7,200 rpm disk speed.
