A second season of the "NEW GAME!" anime has been announced.

NEW GAME!" is an anime based on Shotaro Tokuno's four-frame manga serialized in Manga Time Kirara Carat. It depicts the struggles of a rookie character designer at a video game company, and the main character, Aoba Suzukaze's line "I'm going to work hard all day! became a boom on the Internet. Directed by Yoshiyuki Fujiwara of "GJ Club" and "Unidentified in Progress," with Ryohei Takeshita as assistant director, Fumihiko Shimo of "CLANNAD" and "Unidentified in Progress" as series director, Ai Kikuchi as character designer, and Animation Studio as animation producer.

The first news of the decision to produce the second season was announced at the "NEWGAME!" fan appreciation event -NextLevel- held on February 12 at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo. Information such as the airing date has not yet been disclosed. Let's look forward to more information.
