The "mineo Shop Akihabara," a directly managed store of the low-cost SIM service "mineo," will open tomorrow, February 14 (Tuesday).

The shop is located on PC Parts Street, across from the DOSPALA Akihabara main store, on the second floor of the TK West Building, which houses the PC Kobo Outlet Building on the first floor.

The "mineo" service is a low-cost SIM service provided by K-Opticom Corporation, a member of the Kansai Electric Power Group, and features support for two carriers, KDDI (au) and NTT DoCoMo.

The newly opened "mineo Shop Akihabara" will handle services such as new same-day contracts, purchase of various SIM cards, and initial setup of mineo handsets. However, some services such as purchase of "Prepaid SIM for Overseas" and "Prepaid SIM for Japan Travel," contract change, cancellation, payment of usage fees, and handset repair will not be handled.

In addition, the company is now accepting reservations for visits to the store, where customers can call in advance ( phone number: 050-7102-8788 ) or visit the store's website to reserve a date and time for their visit and receive priority access to the store.
