Hasegawa will release a plastic model "A-4M Skyhawk "Greg Gates"" from the manga "Area 88" in February 2017.
2/15 Additional photos of the finished model and packaging have been added.

Area 88" is a manga by Kaoru Shintani, set in the Kingdom of Aslan in the Middle East, depicting the harsh air battles and human drama that take place among the mercenaries belonging to the base called "Area 88".

This kit is the fourth in the plastic model series currently being developed by Hasegawa, and is a 1/48th scale model of the A-4M Skyhawk flown by Greg Gates, one of the popular characters and an expert in ground attacks, during his battles with ground-based aircraft carriers. In addition to Greg's aircraft, the kit can reproduce the aircraft flown by Tetsuwan Campbell, who was killed in the ground carrier battle. The kit also includes a set of extra decals with the skull personal markings on the A-10, which became Greg's favorite aircraft after the A-4M.

The size is 1/48 scale (overall length: 256mm) and is scheduled to ship around February 14, 2017. Pre-orders are currently being accepted at model stores.
