SanDisk has released the "SDSQUAM-256G-GN6MA," a microSD card compliant with the "A1" standard that supports high-speed launching of smartphone applications.





The SDSQUAM-256G-GN6MA is a microSDXC memory card with a capacity of 256GB and, as mentioned above, is compliant with the Application Performance Class 1 (A1) standard.

A1 is a new standard for SD cards designed for high-speed startup and operation of smartphone applications. Conventional SD cards had slow random access speeds, which sometimes slowed down the startup and operation of applications installed on the SD card, but this standard stipulates random read: 1,500 IOPS or more, random write: 500 IOPS or more, and sequential access speed of 10 MB/s or more.
