The official voting project "2017 Winter Anime Leading Actor Popularity Poll [Male]" was held from January 31 to February 15 on the anime portal "Anipota" operated by Akiba Research Institute. Who is the popular voice actor who won this voting project with a total of 11,278 votes cast?　Let's take a look at the results.

As a result, the overall ranking remained unchanged from the recently announced interim results, with Akira Ishida, who plays the role of Yuri in "Chain Chronicle: HEXETAS no Sen", taking first place. At the end of the voting period, Tomokazu Seki, who was in second place, was rapidly gaining ground and was trailing by several dozen votes. Both actors also play the role of master and disciple in "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju - Sukeroku Again Arc," and the result was quite interesting, with Ishida, who plays the master Yakumo Yurakutei VIII, beating out Seki, who plays his disciple Sukeroku Yurakutei III.

The third-place finisher, Jun Fukushima, was initially in the lead, but was overshadowed by Ishida and Seki from the midpoint of the contest. However, he consistently earned votes until the end, showing his popularity.

The fourth place and below are also noteworthy. Although the ranking did not change in the end, they all received a large number of votes toward the end of the contest. This was the driving force behind the increase in the total number of votes. If the counting period had been extended a little longer, there might have been a change in the ranking.
The results show the high popularity and momentum of male voice actors.
