Manga "Gaket Kegurui" to be adapted into an anime!　Production: MAPPA, Director: Yuichiro Hayashi, Series Composition: Yasuko Kobayashi

An anime adaptation of the manga "Kaket Kegurui" has been announced.

Gaket Kegurui-" is a manga serialized in "Monthly GANGAN JOKER" (Square Enix), written by Homura Kawamoto and drawn by Toru Naomura. The story is set at Hyakkaou Gakuen, a private school where the children of influential figures in the Japanese political and financial worlds gather and where "tactics," "mind-reading," and "gambling strength"-in other words, the strength of the gamblers-all play a role. This is the story of Yumeko Jabami, a mysterious transfer student at the private Hyakkaou Academy. It is an extreme psychological drama in which human desires and true nature are exposed through gambling, and it is a much-talked-about work that has attracted a great deal of attention.

The TV anime adaptation of this work has now been announced. The staff information has also been released, with production by "Yuri! on ICE" and "In a Corner of the World," directed by Yuichiro Hayashi (GARO: GARO), series composed by Yasuko Kobayashi (SHINGEKI NO KYOTSU), and character design by Manabu Akita (Rage of Bahamut: VIRGIN SOUL).
