Masterpiece robot anime "UFO Warrior Diapolon" to be packaged as an all-episode series for the first time!　All episodes up to the sequel "II" to be released on Blu-ray in 4 volumes!

The first package of all episodes from the classic robot anime "UFO Warrior Diapolon," which was first released in 1976 and launched its "40th Anniversary Project" in September 2016, will be sequentially released on Blu-ray starting in May 2017.

UFO Warrior Diapolon" is based on the original idea by Satoshi Ganiya, creator of "Mimi Shinbo" and "Otokogumi," and the 36th Manga Artist Association of Japan (MAAJ) award-winning author of "Gourinshinbo! and drawn by Kaido Ryu, who won the 36th Japan Cartoonists Society Award for his "Ginga Senshi Apollon" comic "Ginga Senshi Apollon". The originality of the manga, including the idea of the main character becoming one with a giant robot that combines multiple humanoid robots and the design of Diapolon, which was inspired by American football, made it very popular among children at the time. The popularity of the series led to the production of a sequel, "UFO Warrior Diapolon II Action Series," which was re-edited to include new scenes.

This time, the "UFO Warrior Diapolon II Action Series" has also been commercialized. This film is the first full-length video release since the first broadcast, and is a fantastic work. The HD negative/positive telecine format, which captures the left and right images that could not be recorded in the conventional 4:3 angle of view without cutting the top and bottom images, has made it possible to record high-quality, high-resolution images.
