Original anime "ID-0" to begin airing in Spring 2017!　Additional cast members, mecha settings, and more to be revealed!

The latest information, including a key visual, from the original anime "ID-0" has been announced.

ID-0" is a full 3DCG original anime that was announced in August 2016. It is directed by Taniguchi, who is known for many hit works such as "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion," Yosuke Kuroda, who has written screenplays for popular works such as "My Hero Academia," and Sanzigen, who has created many works including "Arpeggio Ars Nova" and "Bubuki Blanki", The work has been attracting attention from anime fans.

The "WONDERFUL HOBBY LIFE FOR YOU! 25 "ID-0" Stage" at the "Wonder Festival 2017 [Winter]" event held on February 19, it was announced that this work will be broadcast as a TV anime. The broadcast will begin on April 9, 2017 (Sunday), and the key visual and additional cast members have also been revealed.

Mikuli Maya, a student at the Federation Academy, is involved in an accident while using an I-machine, but is rescued and forced to work as a member of the pirate-like Orichardt excavation company Escavate, a spaceship that rides an I-machine. ......

Goro Taniguchi, director of "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion" and Yosuke Kuroda, screenwriter of "Mobile Suit Gundam 00," team up again for "ID-0," an unprecedented robot action set in deep space and beyond.

Renji Murata of "LAST EXILE" fame is the animation character designer, and Kanetake Ebikawa of "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" fame is the mechanical character designer. Production is by Sanzigen, which is highly acclaimed for its cell-look 3DCG expression. The charm of the characters and I-machines, expressed in full 3DCG, and the spectacular scenery of deep space that no one has ever seen before are the highlights of this work.
Maya will learn what it means to be "human" while spending time with the members of the group, all of whom have their own unique characteristics.
