Manga "Love and Lies" to be adapted into a TV anime in summer 2017!　A story of forbidden love that unfolds in a world where marriage partners are nominated by the government.

A TV anime adaptation of the manga "Koi to Uso" (Love and Lies) has been announced.

Koi to Uso" is a manga serialized in "Manga Box" (Kodansha, Weekly Shonen Magazine Editorial Department/DeNA) by Musawo. Set in a world where the Basic Law on Measures to Cope with the Decreasing Birthrate, commonly known as the Yukari Law, is enforced, which notifies people of their marriage partners when they reach the age of 16, this popular work depicts the immature, fleeting, and forbidden love lives of boys and girls.

It has now been announced that this work will be adapted into a TV anime in the summer of 2017. The director is Seiki Takuno of "Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches" and "Plaster Boys. A teaser visual depicting the main heroines, Misaki Takasaki and Ririna Sanada, and a teaser PV have also been released.

Story
One day, we are notified of "love.

When you turn 16 years old, the government notifies you of your marriage partner under the Basic Act on Measures to Cope with the Declining Birthrate, commonly known as the Yukari Law.
Everyone accepts the "happiness" of being guaranteed compatibility by the government without the hassle of finding a partner.
On the night of his 16th birthday, Yukari Nejima, 15, makes up his mind to finally express his long-held feelings for Misaki Takasaki, but soon after, he receives a notice from the government...
But just after that, he receives a notice from the government... Who is the person with whom he is linked by the red thread of science...?

In a world where the government unilaterally decides "who you should like" and "who you should not like. Is this hope or despair?
A story of immature, fleeting, and forbidden love in which the earnest and pure feelings of boys and girls are intertwined.

This is an anime adaptation. It has been my dream for a long time, so it is really a dream come true.
