Anime Film "Mazinger Z the Movie (Tentative Title)" Announces AJ2017 Event Speakers! Shotaro Morikubo and Ai Chino to appear!

Event information has been announced for the animated film "Mazinger Z the Movie (tentative title).



Mazinger Z" is a manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) by Go Nagai in 1972, and can be said to be the originator of the combined/riding giant robot anime that depicts the activities of Mazinger Z, a giant robot with various armaments and overwhelming strength, and its pilot, Kouji Kabuto. The TV animation recorded the highest viewer rating of 30.4% in the 1970s, and also gained a large number of fans in various parts of the world. In January 2017, it was announced that this work would be revived as a theater animation.

The speakers for the "Mazinger Z the Movie" (tentative title) Project Launch Commemorative Event to be held on March 26 (Sun.) at AnimeJapan 2017's Blue Stage have been announced. On stage will be Shotaro Morikubo, who has worked on "Naruto Shippuden," "Weak Mushi Pedal," and stage productions, as well as "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. Ai Chino, who has appeared in "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai" and "March Lion.
