Spring anime "BORUTO - BOLT - NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS", main staff & cast information released!

Program information and staff comments for the spring anime "BORUTO BORUTO NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS," which will begin airing in April, have arrived.

BORUTO NEXT GENERATIONS" is an anime based on "BORUTO", a sequel to "NARUTO" by Masashi Kishimoto, whose original comics have sold over 200 million copies worldwide. It depicts the activities of the next generation of characters, including Uzumaki Bolt, the son of Naruto and the other main characters from the previous work. Following the conclusion of the previous "Naruto," the anime film "Boruto the Movie" was released in 2015 with original author Masashi Kishimoto as scriptwriter, character designer, and executive producer, and this spring, Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump" will begin publishing the original story and supervised by Mr. Kishimoto, The manga "BORUTO -BORUTO-" has been serialized once a month in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump" with Ukyo Kotai and Mikio Ikemoto in charge of the screenplay and manga, respectively.

It was announced this time that this work will start airing on TV Tokyo on April 5. In addition, the main visual and main staff were unveiled for the first time. The general director is Noriyuki Abe of "Arslan Senki" and "Divine Gate" fame, and the director is Hiroyuki Yamashita, who will continue from the "Boruto -Naruto the Movie-" anime film. Makoto Uezu will be in charge of series composition, and Ukyo Kotachi, who also wrote the script for the original comic, will supervise the story.
