The "SST-TP01-M2" heat dissipation pad for M.2 SSDs is now available from SilverStone.




The SST-TP01-M2 is a heat dissipation pad that can be attached to an M.2 SSD to dissipate the heat of the M.2 SSD to a larger board surface such as a motherboard or M.2 adapter card.

According to the company, the heat dissipation pad provides a cooling effect of 14.6°C. Note that only motherboards and M.2 adapter cards with a connector height of 4 mm or less can be used.

The main specifications are as follows: Compatible M.2 SSDs up to 110 mm in length. Thermal conductivity is 4 W/m.k. Operating temperatures range from -40°C to 200°C. Thermal dissipation pads are available in two thicknesses, 0.5mm and 1.5mm pads for single-sided M.2 SSDs (no components on the back) and 0.5mm pads for double-sided M.2 SSDs (components on both sides).
