Anime "Marvel's Future Avengers" to begin airing in summer 2017! Marvel's first original Japanese TV animation in 3 years

The animated TV series "Marvel Future Avengers" will begin airing in the summer of 2017.



In "Marvel Future Avengers," young boys with superhuman abilities, genetically engineered by evil, join the "Avengers," the strongest team formed by popular Marvel heroes such as Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, and Thor, and grow up fighting villains as the "Future Avengers. The animated TV series depicts a group of young boys with superhuman abilities who are genetically engineered to become apprentices and grow up to fight villains as the "Future Avengers". This is the first new animated series in Japan in three years based on Marvel's character designs and supervised by Marvel.


It has been announced that this work will start airing on Dlife, a BS TV station affiliated with Disney, in the summer of 2017. It was also announced that Teruaki Mizuno's manga serialization will begin in the April issue of "Bessatsu Coro Coro Comics Special" (Shogakukan) prior to the broadcast.

In announcing the production, Eddie Kacs of Walt Disney Television International Japan said, "We are very pleased to be able to bring new Marvel content for boys as an original Japanese TV animation. Marvel's films have enjoyed numerous theatrical successes in Japan over the past few years. We hope to expand the popularity of Marvel's works to children and hope that they will enjoy the wonderful world of Marvel through this program.
