TV anime "Siren"; singer-songwriter Oku Hanako, who sings the theme song, tries her hand at voice acting for the first time!

Singer-songwriter Hanako Oku, who sings the theme song of the TV anime "Siren," has taken on the challenge of voice acting for the first time.

Siren" is the first original TV animation work by Minoisai Takayama, game designer of "Kimikiss" and "Amagami" for PlayStation 2. In this work, for which Mr. Takayama serves as character designer, series composition, and script writer for all episodes, a new love story will unfold in the setting of "Kiichi Higashi High School," which is also the stage of "Amagami. Directed by Tomoki Kobayashi, character design by Naoto Hosoda, and animation production by studio Gogumi/AXsiZ.

Hanako Oku, who sings the opening theme song "Kimi no Hana" for this work, made her first attempt at voice acting in episode 9, "~Kateibu~.
This project was proposed by the anime staff, and Oku herself readily agreed, saying, "This is a rare opportunity! and readily agreed to the project. Her first challenge as a voice actor was realized. Oku played the role of a "pancake store clerk. The main character, Shoichi Kamida, and the heroine, Imahiko Momono, enter a pancake shop, and when the waitress brings them another pancake, she says, "I'm sorry, but I don't have any more pancakes! The situation is called "The Pancake Shop Clerk".

After the recording, Ms. Hanako Oku commented, "It was my first time to work on an anime production and it was very stimulating. She commented, "It was my first time in an anime setting, so it was very stimulating. Please check her performance on the air.
