GRANBLUE FANTASY The Animation" is an anime work based on the hit smartphone app game "GRANBLUE FANTASY" planned, developed and operated by Cygames. Set in a world of islands floating in the sky, the story follows the adventures of the main character, Gran, as he and Luria, a girl who fell from the sky, set off on a journey to escape from the clutches of a powerful military state. Directed by Yuki Ito, character design by Toshifumi Akai, script by Cygames, and animation production by A-1 Pictures.
