Anime Film "Pripara the Movie: Minna de Kagayake! Kirarin☆Star Live! Stage Greeting Report! Information on the new series starting in April is also released!

On Saturday, March 4, 2017, the long-awaited anime film "Pripara the Movie: Minna de Kagayake! Kirarin☆Star Live!" was held on Saturday, March 4, 2017, to commemorate the opening of the long-awaited anime film "Prepara the Movie: Mi-No-De-Kagayake!



Prepara" is a TV animation based on the popular arcade game for girls. It depicts girls who aim to become "god idols" and compete in performances as idols in "Pripara Town," a theme park where anyone can become an idol, to win the grand prix. The third season is currently airing, and its story of friendship and growth has been gaining popularity not only among girls but also among adults.
The fourth theatrical version, "Pripara the Movie: Minna de Kagayake! Kirarin☆Star Live! is set in "Purichu" (not space) for the first time in the history of "Puripara," and the story that unfolds there is attracting a lot of attention from fans.

After the first screening, which started at 8:50 a.m. at Shinjuku Wald 9, Saki Yamakita, Yu Serizawa, Hikka Akaneya, Yuki Wakai, Miyu Kubota, and Azuki Shibuya of "i☆Ris" who play the main characters appeared on stage. They discussed their impressions of this work.

Yamakita-san, who plays the role of Sion Todo, commented on the highlights of this work: "There are many different Puchu people in the show, and we all play their voices. And the fact that there are more idols in the show than ever before is a high point for me personally. I think people can enjoy it, no matter which idol they are promoting". Shibuya, who plays the role of Dorothy West, stressed, "The attraction is the large number of live performances! she stressed.

As is customary with the "Pripara" series, this year's theatrical version also features three different storylines that change from week to week. The first week will feature the Laa route, the second week the Hibiki route, and the third week the Mirei route. When asked what route she would recommend, Akaneya-san, who plays the role of Raara Manaka, replied, "Of course, the Raara route! It's a little bit noisy, isn't it? In the latter half of the greeting, members of the idol group "WASUTA," who serve as ambassadors for the film, also took the stage. They are currently uploading a video on YouTube showing the choreography of the song "Pripara★Lalang" that is played in the last scene of the film, and the audience was invited to join them in the dance. Not only i☆Ris, but also TV Tokyo announcer Asami Konno, who served as the MC, joined the event. Asami Konno, a TV Tokyo announcer and former idol, enlivened the audience with her sharp dance moves.


New information about "Idol Time Prettypara," the latest in the series to begin airing, was also announced. A new story will unfold in "Papara Yuku," a town where "DANPARIS," or "DANPARIS for boys," has gained popularity, and images of the three male idols were shown. This movie version also features episodes that lead into the new series. Yuki Wakai, who plays Leona West, who is actually a boy but is active as a female idol, commented, "I was surprised because I didn't expect Leona to show so much manliness (in the movie).

It was also announced that the theme song will be "Just be yourself," a new song by "WASUTA," which was also used in the film.
