ALI PROJECT's 25th anniversary single will be released on March 29.

ALI PROJECT is a unit composed of Arika Takarano (lyrics and vocals) and Mikiya Katakura (music composition and arrangement). Characterized by their literary lyrics, creative melodies and arrangements, and cutting-edge visuals, they have sung many theme songs for hit anime such as "Code Geass" and "Rozen Maiden.

This time, the jacket photo and music clip for the 25th anniversary single "Himiko Gaiden" have been unveiled all over again. In addition, JAM Project joins in on the chorus. The song is magnificent, like a small opera that only ALI PROJECT can express.

Comments from members Alika Takarano and Mikiya Katakura have also arrived.

I
amveryhappy to be here.I feel as if I have passed like an arrow and climbed up a long, long spiral staircase step by step.

I feel as if I have climbed up the long, long spiral staircase step by step. I have written and sung so many songs that I feel as if I have already passed through many different stories.
I have written and sung so many songs that I feel as if I have already passed through many different stories. I sometimes wonder which is the real me, the me in the song or the me in reality.
I sometimes wonder which is the real me, the me in the song or the me in reality.
I used to say that anniversary celebrations were absurd, but in my 20th year I released "快恠奇奇", a collection of singles, and in my 25th year, I released "快恠奇奇", a collection of singles.
In my 25th year, I had the opportunity to release a special commemorative single, I made "Himiko Gaiden", and now I'm just happy and sweet to be able to continue my music.
I am just enjoying the happiness of being able to continue to play music. On the cold, hard, yet beautifully shiny marble dance floor
I stop for a moment on the cold, hard, yet beautifully glazed marble dance floor, looking up at the staircase that still rises high above.
I can feel that it is my never-ending mission to weave a song to pour down to the ear of someone who is somewhere in this incredibly wide and endless world.
I pray that I will be able to go on with my days, feeling that it is a never-ending mission to weave songs to pour into the ears of someone somewhere in this tremendously wide and endless world.

Mikiya Katakura
It has been 25 years since my debut.
I am very happy that I have continued to devote 25 years to music.
As for "Himiko Gaiden," I had a hard time composing it.
Lantis said to me, "As a song to mark the 25th anniversary, please compose it to the fullest without regrets, no matter how long it is, 10 minutes or 20 minutes!
It doesn't matter how long it is, 10 minutes, 20 minutes, however long it takes! I don't care how long it takes! He also agreed to my request to have JAM Project sing on the chorus.
I am very happy to have them on the chorus.
My blood as a composer was boiling and I started to compose music last November, but to my surprise, there was no progress at all. I made a song and threw it away.
I kept on making and discarding, and then making and discarding again. I was depressed, thinking that I had run out of notes. But as I faced the keyboard and music sheets every day
I was depressed because I thought I had run out of notes. Music is the art of time.
Compose music with a lot of suffering and pleasure! I have been composing for a month and a half since I started.
It was a month and a half after I started composing, and "Himiko Gaiden" was finally completed.
We hope to continue to evolve toward our 30th anniversary next year!
