An advance screening of the TV anime "Sakurada Reset," which will begin airing sequentially on TOKYO MX, Kansai Television, and other stations this spring on April 5, 2017, was held at Wald 9 in Shinjuku, Tokyo, on March 7. The event was a great success, with fans of the original novel and the main cast members in attendance.

Sakurada Reset" is the debut novel (KADOKAWAA Kadokawa Bunko/Sneaker Bunko) by Yutaka Kono, known for his "Staircase Island" series, and is set in "Sakurada," a town where people with abilities gather, and follows Kei Asai, a high school student with the ability to "retain memories" and never forget what she sees and hears, and a girl with the ability to "reset" the world. In addition to the TV anime, a live-action movie is scheduled to be released in spring 2017. The staff of the TV anime is directed by Shinya Kawamatsu of "Carefree", the series is composed of Katsuhiko Takayama of "ef - a tale of memories", and the character design is by Tomoyuki Shimotani of "Bakuman. A 30-minute talk show was held prior to the screening. In addition to director Shinya Kawasue, four main cast members, Kaito Ishikawa (Kei Asai), Kana Hanazawa (Misora Harusaki), and Aoi Yuki (Violet Aima), appeared on stage and spoke about their enthusiasm for the work. The talk was held in a situation where many things could not be said before the broadcast, as there are many "mysterious" elements in this work, but they talked about the wonderful structure of this work as a story and the difficulty of visualizing this work with its many emotional descriptions.

The preceding screening of the first and second episodes of the TV series, which followed, gave the impression that there was a great deal of dialogue, and that the work depicted various emotions more carefully than most anime works. The two main pillars of the story are the incidents caused by the "abilities" of each of the main characters and the way in which they are resolved.

During the talk show, it was revealed for the first time that this work will be broadcast in two consecutive seasons, in spring and summer. The story of this work, which has been released in seven volumes, is quite complex, and there were some concerns that it would not be able to be fully depicted in a single episode.
