Osomatsu-san" will hold a screening festival event in April! In addition to the screening of the TV anime special edition, new short episodes will be shown!

From the TV anime "Osomatsu-san," it was announced that "Osomatsu-san Spring National Great Senbatsu Screening Festival" will be held.



Osomatsu-san" is an original anime created to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the late Fujio Akatsuka's birth.
Based on "Osomatsu-kun," a gag comic published by Fujio Akatsuka in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" in 1962 that became an explosive hit, "Osomatsu-san" depicts a future where the six children have grown up. The series became a popular title for its aggressive gags and parodies, the portrayal of the six children's diverse personalities, and the use of popular male voice actors.


In the 27th issue of "Osoma Tsushin" published on the official website ( # ) on Monday, March 6, 2017, it was revealed that the screening event "Osomatsu-san Spring National Great Senbatsu Screening Festival" will be held.

In the simultaneous advance screening to be held on April 6 (Thu.), "Osomatsu-san" will jack up six screens at six theaters: Sapporo Cinema Frontier (Sapporo), TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku (Tokyo), Yokohama Burg 13 (Yokohama), Midland Square Cinema (Nagoya), TOHO Cinemas Umeda (Osaka), and T-Joy Hakata (Fukuoka). Mr. Osomatsu" jacks up six screens at each of the six theaters. Each of the six screens, named "Osomatsu-Buya" and "Karamatsu-Room" (......), will show a different TV anime special edition at the same time. In addition, all rooms will show a part of "Osomatsu-san: Ohmeko-banashi" and a completely new short episode, so don't miss it.

From the following day, April 7 (Fri.), it will be screened at about 50 theaters nationwide for a limited time. For more information on the episodes to be screened in each room and the screening theaters, please visit the event's official website ( #senbatsu/).
