Seiyu Artist Audition "ANISONG STARS" to be held! Discover and nurture voice-over artists who can be active in the world

Lantis, Amuse, Bandai Visual, and Bandai Namco Live Creative have announced the launch of "ANISONG STARS," an audition aimed at discovering voice actors who can work globally through "anime.

As the four companies are planning a new stage to promote the overseas development of existing anime songs and anime-related content, and to further expand the number of anime and anisong fans in Japan, they have reached a stage where they need people who can help them achieve this stage. The four companies have decided to recruit "voice-over artists" who have a significant presence in the entertainment world. They are looking for "borderless" voice-over artists who are active on a global scale, and "anime song artists like shining stars".
Auditions will begin on March 16, 2017 (Thursday), and after each round of judging, the final round will be held in mid-August or later. The winners will be fully backed by the four companies, and are expected to make their debut in 2018.

Noriyasu Uematsu (composer, sound producer), Hironobu Kageyama (singer-songwriter, lyricist, composer), Kenichi Suzumura (voice actor), TAKE (FLOW guitarist, composer), and Aki Hata (singer-songwriter, lyricist, composer) will serve as judges.

Purpose of the audition: To discover and nurture voice-over artists with an eye toward global activities.
Eligibility ： Those who reside in Japan and are interested in becoming a voice actor or ani-song singer
　Men and women between the ages of 14 and 25 (full age as of April 2, 2017)
　Minors must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian before applying. Nationality is not required.
Application period: March 16 (Thu) - June 18 (Sun) (subject to change)

Benefits for winners: Winners will aim to make their debut in 2018 with the support of 4 companies. All lesson fees will be waived.
