Eri Kitamura, a long-time interview to commemorate the release of her mini-album "Revolution [re:i]"! Part 1

Eri Kitamura, aka "Kitaeri," a popular voice actress, has moved to TMS Music and will release her first release, a mini-album "Revolution [re:i]," on March 22, 2017. You can feel the past Kitaeri, but you can also feel the new Kitaeri. She has written the lyrics for three of the five songs on the album, which is a perfect example of what she wants to express in her music. The album was produced with live performances in mind, and with a premium live concert scheduled for April 2, the day is not far off when you will be able to experience it with your own eyes, ears, and body.

First of all, we would like you to feel Ms. Kitamura's "thoughts" from this interview.

─ Eri Kitamura, you have always been involved in expressive activities as an artist, but what did you find enjoyable about it?

Eri Kitamura (Eri Kitamura): I have always loved the process of creating something out of nothing, and I have been expressing myself through my acting and artistic activities. I have also drawn manga and pictures as a hobby, and I have enjoyed the pleasure of realizing what I wanted to do until I reached this age. That is why my current activities as an artist have not changed in that I am trying to give shape to what I want to do.

─ ─ This time, you have teamed up with TMS Music and decided to resume your artist activities.

Kitamura: We decided to start this project not by pretending that the activities we have been doing up to now have never happened, but by talking about how we could realize what Eri Kitamura has in mind now in TMS's field, while still maintaining our past selves.

I asked her about it, and she said, "I think that's a good idea. I think that is why Eri Kitamura will remain as she is, or rather, will be conveyed to the audience. In that sense, this mini-album is a reflection of who I have been, who I am now, and who you all are. With the help of new people, I can proudly say, "It's me! I think I can proudly say, "It's me!

─ ─ It must be difficult to realize the image of Ms. Kitaeri (laughs).

Kitamura: When I said I wanted to do something like this in a music video, we discussed it with each other with the attitude that "it would be profitable if I could materialize it," and I said I would say as much as I could. I am so sorry, Mr. TMS, as a sign of gratitude! (Laughs)
