The "TV Animation "Minami Kamakura High School Girls Bicycle Club" Character Song Collection Kamakore" will be released on April 19. To commemorate the release, Akiba Research Institute has interviewed the cast members of the CD one by one!
The second interview is with Yuki Hirose, who plays the role of Tomoe Akizuki, who became friends with Hiromi Maiharu, the main character, over a bicycle. ─ ─ What are the highlights of the song?

Hirose: The part where the melody falls down except for the chorus. I sang it as if I was really talking to Hiromi. For example, the first part of the song, "It was a coincidence, but it was inevitable, wasn't it?

───What do you think the scene of "Blue Treasure" would be like in an anime?

Hirose: The first scene that comes to mind is the scene in the first episode when they meet and walk together on the beach. Then the race starts, and before I knew it, the club members are gathered next to each other. The chorus is especially suitable for the race scene. The lyric, "I can overcome any situation, you are by my side," is also very true, as there is a scene in the movie where the girls are not running the race by themselves, but with their friends around them, they can overcome their fatigue. I think you could listen to the song if you put the images from the anime over it as it is. Also, I think this song fits the sparkling sea. Minamikamakura has an image of the sea, and the scenery is very beautiful and the sea is sparkling. I think this song brings to mind the sea and Tomoe's smiling face.

─ You sang the ending theme song "Nijiyume Road" as a duet with Rena Ueda.

Hirose Ika-san, who sang the original song, is a woman, but she sang it in a low key like a man, so I thought, "Oh my God! But when I sang it as Tomoe, I thought again, "This is a very good song. I was thinking, "It's like a feeling of youth attacking me" (laughs). (Laughs.) All the lyrics are sparkling and dazzling!　I thought, "It's so good! Tomoe and Hiromi are singing together, so I think it gives the impression that they are singing while talking to each other. The sparkling tune suited the two of them, and they had a lot of fun singing it. I almost cried when I imagined Tomoe and Hiromi looking forward to each other and laughing as they walked down the street. I especially like the words, "Let the sound of your laughter be a landmark. Also, I would like to sing "Bicycle ni Hana wa Maiwu" in Tomoe's version someday, wouldn't you? I'll make an appeal here! (Laughs)

─ ─ Do you have any bicycle episodes yourself, Mr. Hirose?

Hirose: When I was in high school, I used to commute to school by bicycle. Maybe I wanted to ...... go somewhere far away (laughs). But when you ride a bicycle, you really feel like you can go anywhere. As long as you have a bicycle and your legs, you can go anywhere you want, and you can always come back. In the anime, there is a scene where Hiromi goes everywhere on her bicycle, and I could really relate to that feeling that even as a student, I could go anywhere if I had a bicycle. I was riding my bike by myself.

─ ─ Finally, could you give a message to our readers?

Hirose: I haven't listened to the other members' songs yet, but I'm sure it will be a very sparkling album. Natsumi and Fuyune sing "Bicycle ni Hana ha Maiu" and Hiromi and I sing "Nijiyume Road. And "blue treasure" by Tomoe, which I sing, is also a great coming-of-age song. Each song has a different atmosphere, and I think this album is filled with various kinds of adolescence. I hope that those who are currently in school will accelerate their youth by listening to the CD, and those who have finished their youth, like me, will be reminded of the old days. If you have finished your youth like I did, I hope you will also be reminded of the old days. For some strange reason, when you are reminded of the old days through the songs of "Minakama," you will be filled with emotion or nostalgic feelings, so please immerse yourself in your youth!
