TV anime "Shogun's Altair" to start airing in summer 2017! Additional Cast Members: Yuu Kobayashi and Takahiro Sakurai

New key visuals and other latest information from the TV anime "Shogun's Altair" have been released.



Altair of the Shogunate" is a manga serialized in "Monthly Shonen Sirius" (Kodansha) by Kotono Katou. Set in Torkiye Shogunate, a country of grasslands and deserts ruled by a ruler called Shogun (Pasha), the popular work depicts with a delicate touch how Mahmut, the youngest Shogun in Torkiye history, takes on interstate intrigue and plotting. The anime is directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, series composition by Noboru Takagi, character design by Toshiyuki Kanno, and animation production by MAPPA.

At the "AnimeJapan2017" event held on March 25 and 26, 2017, it was announced that this work will be broadcast in the MBS "Anime-ism" slot from July for two consecutive seasons.
