TV anime "Twelve Taisen" reveals teaser visual and PV!　AnimeJapan2017 official report also arrived!

A teaser visual and a teaser PV for the TV anime "Twelve Taisen" have been released.

The novel, written by Ishin Nishio of "Monogatari" series and "The Memorandum of Imahiko," and illustrated by Hikaru Nakamura of "Arakawa Under the Bridge" and "Saint Oniisan," depicts a battle royal involving schemes and carnage among 12 bizarre warriors, A TV anime adaptation was announced in early March 2017.

A teaser visual was revealed at AnimeJapan2017. The visual depicts "Yuujo," played by Nobuhiko Okamoto, and its bizarre atmosphere gives a sense of the work's one-of-a-kind worldview.

In addition to the above teaser PV, staff information was also announced at a talk event held at the Avex Pictures booth in AnimeJapan 2017. The director is Naoto Hosoda of "Future Diary" and "Hataraku Maou-sama! The series composition is by Sadayuki Murai of "Knights of Sidonia", character design by Mutsumi Kadekari of "Code Geass: Akito the Exiled Chapter 5 (Chief Animation Director)", music by Go Shiina of "Kyousou Giga" and "God Eater", and music production by Avex Pictures. The music will be composed by Go Shiina of "Kyousogiga" and "God Eater" and produced by Avex Pictures.

A talk event was held today at the Avex Pictures booth in AnimeJapan 2017 to commemorate the TV anime of the novel "Twelve Taisen" (published by Shueisha), which will be broadcast in 2017. The event featured Nobuhiko Okamoto (playing the role of Yujo (Rabbit)), Takanori Asada (editor-in-chief of Shueisha's j BOOKS), and Kazuto Matsumura (Avex Pictures, Inc.).

This is the first collaboration between Nishio Ishin ("Bakemonogatari," "The Memorandum of Code Kamikami Konjiko," "Kyoukougami Den," "Bishonen Tanteidan"), who wrote the original novel, and Nakamura Hikaru ("Arakawa Under the Bridge," "Saint Onii-san," "Black Knight Parade"), who illustrated the film. Many male and female fans gathered at the event.

After the actors took the stage and greeted the audience, a teaser PV was released for the first time today. After that, it was time for the talk corner. Producer Matsumura talked about the creative focus of the PV, saying, "We made the PV so that people would be curious about the story to come. While Editor-in-Chief Asada was talking about the next subject, "How did the tag team of Ishin Nishio and Hikaru Nakamura come together?", a character design rough sketch of Hikaru Nakamura's twelve warriors +@ was shown for the first time, too. Okamoto, who will be playing the role of Yujo (rabbit), said, "I was surprised when I first saw the visual of Yujo (rabbit), which was unveiled at AnimeJapan 2017. When I listened to the audition tape, I didn't see Okamoto-san playing the role, but it sounded like he was acting with a half-smile on his face the whole time, so I thought he fit the character perfectly. They also praised Okamoto's performance, saying, "When I listened to the audition tape, I thought Okamoto-san sounded like she was playing the character with a half smile, even though I didn't see her play the role. Regarding the visuals, "Yujo (Usagi) looks cool when you just look at his face, but the clothes he wears are almost completely nude, which is amazing! said all the performers, drawing laughter from the audience.
