Report on "Magical Girl Raising Plan" Character Song LIVE "Musica Magica" 16 magical girls performed together for one day only
On Saturday, March 4, 2017, "Magical Girl Raising Project" character song LIVE "Musica Magica" was held. Sixteen cast members who played magical girls gathered at the venue, Maihama Amphitheater. Secret guests also appeared on stage, performing a total of 11 songs. Akiba Research Institute will report on the daytime performance.
Magical Girl Raising Project" is a fantasy manga published in the "Kono Light Novel ga Wo Awesome! Bunko". It is based on a fantasy novel that is currently being published in "This Light Novel is Amazing! The cute illustrations depicting magical girls with rich personalities and the hard-hitting storyline in which the girls are involved in a survival game of death became the talk of the town, and a TV anime was broadcast from October to December 2016.
Musica Magica" will be the first live event to feature the entire main cast. Not wanting to miss such a rare opportunity, the venue was packed with fans. The merchandise corner was a big hit before the show began, with a long line of people waiting to get their hands on acrylic charms, and pamphlets containing stage costumes made especially for the live performance and interviews recorded for the event were also popular.
The event started with a screening of famous anime scenes. The main character Snow White and other magical girls were shown one after another, stirring up the emotions of the fans. The audience stood in unison as the top performer, Aimi Numakura, sang the OP theme song, "Shout! The red and white lights of the psyllium shook so violently that it was hard to believe that this was the first song.
When she repeated the phrase "Shout it out," fans shouted "Shout it out! to support her singing with all their might. After finishing the song, Numakura gave a message "Musica Magica, please enjoy the show! and declared the live show to start.
The second song was "Peaky Wandafuru!" by Risae Matsuda (Minael) x Sousui Matsuda (Yunael) x Asuka Nishi (Tama). (Tama). They sang a comical song, a change from the stylish OP theme. The twin Matsuda sisters showed off their matching character-inspired outfits, with Nishi's bright white dress in between the two, and the visuals were sure to win the hearts of the fans.
The third song was "Oyasumi Parallel" by Yumiri Hanamori (Nemurin). Hanamori, playing the role of "Nemurin," who is always asleep, did a great "Nemurin stroll," walking on stage while sleeping, filling the venue with her lullaby-like voice.
Yoko Hikasa (Lula) and Inori Minase (Swim Swim) took the stage next from the stage celli. The harmony of "Betrayal" by the two standing back to back created a special moment just for this occasion.
During the talk corner, the six members, Hikasa, Mizuse, Hanamori, Risae, Sousui, and Nishi reappeared with live piano accompaniment by Takuro Iga, the composer who created the accompaniment for the play. The audience laughed as they talked freely throughout the show, introducing themselves while naming their agencies and imitating comedians.
Rina Hidaka (Hard Gore Alice) sang the fifth song, "Forget me Not..." lit by purple psyllium. Her gothic lolita outfit, which matched her character's costume, was cute and perfectly suited to the gothic metal song.
For the sixth song, Aimi Numakura (Ripple) appeared from the upper part of the stage and Yumi Uchiyama (Top Speed) appeared from the lower part of the stage to perform "DESTRUCTION," a number with a sense of speed. Numakura wore a big ribbon on her back and Uchiyama wore a necklace of baby bottles to express their characters, and when they high-fived each other on stage, the fans' voltage reached the highest.
The last song of the middle stage was "Yumetoyume" by Nao Higashiyama (Snow White) and Ayane Sakura (La Pucelle). Higashiyama, playing Snow White, looked like a princess, while Sakura, playing La Pucelle, the only male character, was dressed like a prince, creating a wedding-like atmosphere.
But as soon as the song ended, "Don't be a wedding! and Numakura, Uchiyama, and Hidaka interrupted the talk corner. Unperturbed by their attack, Higashiyama and Sakura recreated the entrance of the bride and groom, arm in arm, to the piano accompaniment of "Kekkon Koshinkyoku". Sakura showed her goodwill by saying, "Welcome to our wedding! and showed how well they got along with each other. Numakura and Uchiyama countered, "We have a deep bond here, too! and revealed that they came up with the choreography for the live performance together. In contrast, Hidaka, who sang solo, said, "I was lonely by myself. ......," and smiled, "The lyrics and tunes fit the characters perfectly, so I felt grateful to be on stage in my role.
The second half of the show was led by "Purest" by Saori Hayami (Sister Nana) and Yuu Kobayashi (Ves Winter Prison). The ninth song was "Magical Girl Laughs" by Kikuko Inoue (Calamity Mary) and Satomi Arai (Magicaloid 44). The posing of the duo, pointing at the audience, was also well done, setting a bewitching mood.
The last performer of the live was Emi Ogata (Clamberry), who played the role of a magical girl for the first time in her career. She sang the sad ballad "Lonely Forest Melody" with a profound voice. As if in response to Ogata's red rose, the psyllium in the audience turned green, creating a fantastic scene like thorns.
During the latter half of the five members' talk, Ogata murmured, "I don't know what I should look like after singing a song like that," to which the audience responded, "I think you should laugh. Inoue's self-introduction included the familiar banter of "I'm Kikuko Inoue, I'm 17 years old" and "Hey, hey, hey," as she enjoyed communicating with the fans. Hayami and Kobayashi said that today was the first time they sang together live, and they seemed satisfied with their performance, saying, "We were happy to sing together. Inoue also imitated Arai, showing how well they get along.
The show ended with all the songs, but Nanoh's name was shown on the screen as a secret guest. Dressed in a chic black suit, Nano sang the ED theme song "DREAMCATCHER" to close the live.
The cast members reunited for the final greeting. The sight of 16 people in stage costumes lined up side by side was truly spectacular and was greeted with a standing ovation from the fans. However, there is actually a secret to this lineup: ....... The lineup was lined up in the order of the characters' deaths, starting from the top.
Ogata laughed at this, saying, "It's surreal because the people who were killed and the people who were killed are lined up next to each other. Sakura, who stood third from the top, drew laughter from the fans when she sadly confided that Snow White did not reminisce much about her death, even though she died quite early in the film, and that there were even times when she was not invited to recordings.
Higashiyama, who plays the lead role in the film, said, "I am very happy to be able to share my feelings with everyone in this way. 16 cast members and Nano-san included, we shared all of the songs that color "Mahoiku,"" he said, speaking from his heart. I hope you will continue to support 'Mahoiku' and I hope that one day we can all talk about it again. Thank you for coming to Musica Magica today! He sent a word of thanks to the audience. In the finale, all 16 cast members bowed in unison, and the two-hour performance, which included songs and talks, ended with applause and cheers.
