New project "Yakusoku - sunnyrain memories" announced! Novel by animation director Ryosuke Nakamura to be released this summer

A new project by animation director Ryosuke Nakamura and animator Mieko Hosoi, "Yakusoku: sunnyrain memories," has been announced.

This work is based on "sunnyrain memories Yakusoku," a collection of delicate illustrations depicting the daily lives of four girls living on an island, created in the summer of 2015 by the "Matsukaze Kobo" doujin circle team, which was led by Ryosuke Nakamura and Mieko Hosoi. Based on this worldview, the novel "Yakusoku: sunnyrain memories," written by Nakamura and illustrated by Hosoi, will be released in summer 2017 by Pony Canyon Publishing (Pony Canyon).
From the catchphrase, "A story that spins unforgettable youth," and the key visual, one can expect a sweet and sour coming-of-age story.
