Report on the "'Shakunetsu no Takkyu Musume' Special Event: Jangagahara Junior High School VS Mozuyama Junior High School" featuring talks, live performances, and a ping-pong match.

On March 5, 2017, the "Shakunetsu no Takkyu Musume" Special Event "Jangagahara Junior High School VS Mozuyama Junior High School" was held at the Maihama Amphitheater in two parts, daytime and nighttime. Here is a report on the daytime performance, with new cuts! The night session will be included in the Blu-ray "Shakunetsu no Takkyu Musume Special Event: Jangagahara Junior High School VS Mozuyama Junior High School," which will be released on June 30.

The special event was filled with songs, games, and excitement!

The event began with the members of the Jangahara Junior High School table tennis club, Dandelion (CV. Yuka Ohtsubo), Satsuki (CV. Kaya Okuno), and Yomogi (CV. Misuke Takagi), parading around the venue in their jerseys. Waving their hands to the audience, the atmosphere was soft and relaxed with heartwarming conversation, but the atmosphere became tense again as the day was a "showdown". The official cheer leader of the day, comedian Koniwa-san, read out the names of the students in his curly tongue, and the members of "Jakugahara Junior High School" and "Mozuyama Junior High School" appeared one by one on the stage.

The members of "Jakugahara Junior High School" were Yumiri Hanamori (playing Koyori Kaze), Mimi Tanaka (playing Agari Kamiya), Marika Takano (playing Hanabi Tenge), Yuki Kuwabara (playing Hokuto Izumo), Ayaka Imamura (playing Yumune Omune), and Hisako Tojo (playing Kiruka Gote). From "Mozuyama Junior High School," Shiori Izawa (played by Kururi Nijumaru), Nozomi Furugi (played by Ishigurane Zashikido), Rika Tachibana (played by Yukiko Scorpio), Yoshinoh Aoyama (played by Yuraki Yura), Ayumi Takeo (played by Mayu Kanerashi) and Yuka Ohtsubo (played by Kimiko Hanashi).

First, each of them talked about their aspirations for today's showdown, and then began the "Burning Rally Talk," a corner in which they nominated and asked what they wanted to hear on this occasion. Here, Hanamori-san asked Tanaka-san questions that only the actors could ask each other, such as what she was thinking about as she played the role, regarding Agari-chan's change to "love ping-pong" in the third ball. Yumiri-chan's performance pulled me in," she replied. The friendly rivalry between the two main characters was a key element of the anime, and it was clear that the actors were actually stimulating each other's performance.
Takeo's answer to director Yasuhiro Irie's question, "What is your favorite scene? to the director, Yasuhiro Irie, who responded with a comment. Surprisingly, he selected emotional scenes rather than intense matches: the scene between Kururi and Ishigatake in the 10th ball and the scene between Koyori and Agari in the shade of a tree in the 12th ball.

Kuwabara and Takano asked Imamura, "What are the three best mimics you can do in front of the audience?" Imamura responded with his best Kilka imitation and an imitation of Mr. Scorpio and Taka (Taka Ishibashi Takaaki of Tunnels). I thought this was a very valuable collaboration that is not usually seen.

The friendly talk conveyed the atmosphere of the scene, but the important thing was that they had gathered here for the ping-pong match!
